Microsoft and Google Update

Microsoft Update

Next week
Microsoft may release their new version of office for both the business customers (upgrade version) and for windows vista.

Google Update

Google has planned to release many other office products in future. It may include the word processor, employee websites and scheduling programs.

This becomes a great competition between
Google and Microsoft, read below what both of them say about the above update:

"Free software has an appealing ring to it, but free software has been around for a while now and it turns out free doesn't trump the software doing what people need it to do," - Antoine LeBlond, Co-leader of Microsoft Office Group.

The company is not attempting to compete with Microsoft Office stating rather that they are, "focused on simple applications with an emphasis on sharing that are aimed at consumers and small business users" - Eric Schmidt, Google's Chief Executive
